Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

This policy explains how information is handled when you visit DLiners, create an account, join our community, shop or contact us.

1. Who we are

Dliners General Trading, trading as DLiners, operates this website and determines how personal data collected through it is used. Registered address: 1 Mostafa El-Nahas Street, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. Contact: customersupport@dliners.com.

2. Personal data we collect

Account information may include your name, email, Egyptian mobile number, saved addresses, login records, membership status and communication preferences. Passwords are not stored in readable form. Birthday day and month are optional; the membership birthday feature does not require your birth year.

Order and service information includes products, size and colour, amounts and discounts, billing and delivery details, delivery instructions, payment status and references, returns, refund details, enquiries and supporting photos or documents. COD refund requests may include your nominated InstaPay or bank-account details. Do not send card passwords, security codes or one-time passwords.

Referral information includes the invited friend’s name, email and mobile number, the referring member, invitation status, verification and duplicate-check results, and reward issue and redemption records. Technical information may include IP address, device/browser details, access times, security logs and cookie information.

3. How we collect information

We receive information directly when you register, shop or contact us; from a member inviting a friend with their permission; from payment and delivery providers; and through the website’s technical operation. Where marketing consent is given, we record the selected channel, consent choice, time and source.

4. How we use information

We use information to manage accounts and membership, process orders and payments, arrange delivery, provide receipts, handle returns and refunds, answer enquiries, administer birthday and referral rewards, prevent misuse and duplicate rewards, secure the website and maintain business records. Marketing uses your separate consent where required. Processing must have an applicable lawful basis; accepting store terms is not consent to promotional messages.

5. Required and optional information

Information needed to register, process payment or deliver an order is identified in the relevant form. Without necessary details we may be unable to provide that service. Birthday information and marketing choices are optional and do not need to be provided to place an order.

6. Membership and birthday rewards

We use purchases, delivered/paid status, refunds and benefit usage to calculate qualifying spend, tiers and rewards. If you provide a birthday day and month, we use them to administer the annual birthday gift and record whether it has been issued or redeemed. Membership does not create an employment, agency or paid ambassador relationship.

7. Referral invitations

A member must confirm their friend’s permission before providing the friend’s contact details. We use those details to send the invitation, link a verified new registration, review possible duplicates and administer the reward. The invitation identifies the referring member; invitation and reward status may be shown to that member. An invitation does not enrol the friend in marketing. If you receive an unwanted invitation, contact Customer Care to request review or removal of the invitation details, subject to necessary security records.

8. Sharing information

We do not sell or rent personal data. Relevant information may be shared with hosting/ecommerce, payment, delivery, email/support, security, accounting and tax providers, professional advisers and authorities where required. Operational documents and records may also be stored in restricted business archives, including SharePoint where used. Access should be limited to the information needed for the recipient’s role. Payment and financing providers also apply their own privacy notices.

9. International processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside Egypt. Any international transfer must meet applicable Egyptian requirements, including the safeguards and authorisations required for that transfer. Contact Customer Care with questions about providers handling your information.

10. Retention and deletion requests

Retention depends on the purpose: account administration, order fulfilment, returns, rewards, fraud prevention, accounting/tax obligations and disputes. Expiry of an invitation or reward does not itself mean all related records have been deleted. We review deletion requests for the relevant website records and operational copies, including archives and provider-held records, and explain any information that must be retained. Backup copies may remain until their retention cycle expires; a deletion request is not a promise of immediate removal from every backup.

11. Security

We use organisational and technical measures appropriate to our operations, including account protection and restricted staff access. No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your login details secure and notify Customer Care if you suspect unauthorised access.

12. Your requests and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your data, deletion or restriction where available, withdraw consent, object to processing or raise a complaint. Email customersupport@dliners.com. We may need to verify your identity and retain information required for lawful purposes. We will explain the outcome of your request and any applicable limitation.

13. Marketing communications

Email and WhatsApp/SMS marketing choices are separate and optional at community registration. You can withdraw marketing consent through Customer Care, or through an unsubscribe option where provided in a message. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary order, payment, delivery, return, account-security or membership-administration messages. Referral invitations do not create marketing consent.

14. Cookies

The website uses cookies needed for functions such as the cart, checkout, login and security. Optional analytics or advertising technologies, if used, must be handled according to their purpose and applicable consent requirements. Where website cookie controls are provided, use them to manage optional choices; browser settings also allow you to manage stored cookies. Blocking necessary cookies can affect shopping or login. Contact Customer Care for information about the tools currently in use.

15. Automated membership processing

The programme automatically calculates qualifying spend, membership tiers and reward eligibility, and checks for possible duplicate accounts or referrals. Some flagged referrals require staff review. Contact Customer Care if you believe a calculation or duplicate decision is incorrect. Payment or financing providers may perform their own automated checks under their own notices.

16. Children and external services

Our website and products are not directed at children unable to provide legally valid consent. A parent or guardian should supervise any account or purchase involving a child. Contact us if a child’s information has been provided without required authorisation. External websites and payment, financing or social-media services have their own privacy practices; review their notices before using them.

17. Complaints and contact

For questions, privacy requests or complaints, email customersupport@dliners.com. Provide enough information to identify the issue without sending passwords, one-time passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents. You may also raise a complaint with the competent authority where applicable.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when services, providers or data-handling practices change. Revisions will show an updated date; additional notice or renewed consent will be provided where required. Changes do not remove rights available under applicable law.
